These terms govern your use of shipments.fyi (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. Questions: support@shipments.fyi.
1. What the Service is
shipments.fyi provides software tools for Amazon FBA sellers: a reimbursement discrepancy scanner, shipment reconciliation, claim-deadline tracking with email alerts, and per-SKU profit analysis. The Service analyzes data you provide and prepares information — including suggested case text — for your review.
2. You file your own claims
The Service does not submit claims, cases, or any communication to Amazon on your behalf, and nothing in the Service is legal, financial, or tax advice. You are responsible for reviewing anything the Service prepares, for what you submit to Amazon, and for complying with Amazon's seller agreements and policies. Reimbursement decisions are Amazon's alone — we do not and cannot guarantee that any claim will be paid.
3. Not affiliated with Amazon
shipments.fyi is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. "Amazon" and "FBA" are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc., used only to describe compatibility.
4. Accounts
Some features require an account. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be authorized to act for the seller business whose data you use with the Service.
5. Free tier, trial, and Pro subscription
- Free tier: the in-browser scanner and profit tools are free, and free accounts can track claims from up to 2 shipments.
- Trial: one 7-day free trial of Pro per account, no card required. When it ends, paid features lock until you subscribe — nothing is charged automatically at trial end.
- Pro: $9.98/month or $98/year (Paid Founder pricing). Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your saved payment method, until you cancel.
- Cancelling: cancel anytime from your billing page; access continues to the end of the paid period and no further charges are made. You can undo a scheduled cancellation before the period ends.
- Failed renewals: if a renewal charge fails we retry over a short grace period and email you; if payment still fails, Pro access lapses (your data is not deleted).
- Refunds: contact support@shipments.fyi — we review requests case by case. A refund of the current period ends the corresponding Pro access.
6. Free Pilot (6 months)
If you join the Free Pilot (6 months), this section applies to you in addition to the rest of these terms. Where it conflicts with another section, this one governs for Free Pilot participants.
It is pre-release software. Free Pilot features are still being built. They may contain bugs, behave inconsistently, be changed substantially, or be withdrawn. Alerts may be delayed or fail to send, and analysis may be wrong. We do not offer a service level, uptime commitment, or support response time during the Free Pilot.
You remain responsible for your own claim deadlines. This is the most important thing on this page. Amazon gives you a limited window to claim on a shipment, and once it closes the money is gone. Our countdowns and email alerts are a safety net on top of your own process — not a replacement for it. Do not rely on them as your only means of tracking a deadline. We are not liable for a claim window you miss, however it was missed, including where an alert we intended to send did not arrive.
Figures are estimates. Reimbursement values are calculated from the data you provide, priced at sourcing cost — the basis Amazon has used since 31 March 2025. They are an estimate of what a claim might be worth, not a statement of what Amazon will pay, and not an accounting record. Check anything before you file it or rely on it.
Tell us when something breaks. Reporting problems is the point of the Free Pilot and the main thing we ask of you. Email support@shipments.fyi — during the Free Pilot that reaches a person directly.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions, bug reports, or ideas, we may use them to improve the Service without restriction or payment. You do not give up anything you own, and we will not publicly identify you or your business as a Free Pilot participant without asking you first.
Either of us can end it. You can leave the Free Pilot at any time by emailing us; we may end the Free Pilot, or any participant's place in it, at any time. If you have prepaid for a paid feature and we end the Free Pilot, we refund the unused portion. Free Pilot access does not entitle you to any particular price or feature after the Free Pilot ends, except where we have told you in writing that Paid Founder pricing is locked in.
Your data during the Free Pilot. Nothing here changes how we handle your data — the privacy policy applies in full. We use your application details to run the Free Pilot and contact you about it. You may request deletion of your Free Pilot record at any time at the address above.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no unauthorized access attempts, no disrupting the Service, no using it with data you have no right to use, and no reselling or white-labeling it without our written agreement.
8. Your data
Your business data remains yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process it to provide the Service. Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how we protect it.
Two ways in, and they retain differently. You may upload reports you export yourself, connect your Amazon account so we fetch them, or both. The choice is yours and you can change it at any time, but it determines how long we keep the result:
- What you upload is kept for as long as your account is active, with no time limit.
- What we fetch from Amazon is deleted automatically 18 months after we receive it. That ceiling is set by Amazon's Data Protection Policy and applies to us regardless of your plan — including paid plans. If you want a permanent record of a period, upload the report for it.
Connecting your Amazon account is optional and every feature works without it. The access we request is read-only, excludes anything carrying your buyers' personal information, and you can revoke it yourself in Seller Central at any time without contacting us.
9. Availability and changes
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate and online but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and analysis results depend on the data you provide. We may improve or change features over time; if we discontinue a paid feature you've prepaid for, we'll refund the unused portion.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, shipments.fyi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost reimbursements, or actions Amazon takes on your seller account. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; where practical, we'll notify you first.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material updates will be announced by email to account holders. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
13. Contact and governing law
Contact: support@shipments.fyi. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Service's operator is established, without regard to conflict of law rules.
